Malgas

Malgas is situated on the banks of the Breede River in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. It is a small town and it's location ideal for fishermen and watersports. The De Hoop Nature Reserve is also in the area. Malgas is only two hours from Cape Town. The beauty of Malgas is that this serene, mountainous, fynbos-rich escape is largely unspoilt and was, until the recent property boom, relegated to the back end of beyond. Even now, Malgas provides an idyllic weekend escape only two and a half hours outside of Cape Town and 30 minutes from Swellendam.
